One of the most stunning natural formations along the Niagara Escarpment, this deep multi-coloured gorge is a history lesson in geology.
The Upper Devil's Punchbowl Falls is a 34 metre ribbon waterfall, which can ebb to a trickle when it hasn't rained or snowed in a while. This video was filmed on two separate days where the waterfall was a trickle on one day and rushed over in a torrent on the other day.
The steep gorge with its colourful layers of rock that encircles the falls is photo-worthy in and of itself and dates back a million years.
On a clear day you can see the Toronto skyline.
