In Costa Rica, even a walk to the store can be a wild experience. This troop of howler monkeys (mono congo) made their presence known in the town of Potrero, Guanacaste in Costa Rica.
Howler monkeys are especially loud at dawn and dusk, but they also vocalize when disturbed. We didn't want to bother them, so we were quickly on our way!
