Description

While most people know "Smokey Mountain Lullaby" as a duet between Chet and Tommy Emmanuel from their "The Day Finger Pickers Took Over the World" album, Chet first recorded this (on acoustic guitar, and with Paul Yandell on rhythm) as a backing track for "The Gingham Dog and The Calico Cat," an audio book narrated by Amy Grant. I loved the arrangement so much that I wanted to try my hand at recreating it. Chet's single note section is especially beautiful.
