Description
One of the stranger songs amongst a cannon of strange Traffic songs. This is a favorite and really features the flute work of Chris Wood. As an instrumental it sounds very contemporary. It was off their second album.
Wikipedia tells us about the band: Traffic were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in April 1967 by Jim Capaldi, Steve Winwood, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. They began as a psychedelic rock group and diversified their sound through the use of instruments such as keyboards (such as the Mellotron and harpsichord), sitar, and various reed instruments, and by incorporating jazz and improvisational techniques in their music
The band had early success in the UK with their debut album Mr. Fantasy and non-album singles "Paper Sun", "Hole in My Shoe", and "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" Their follow-up self-titled 1968 album was their most successful in Britain and featured one of their most popular songs, the widely covered "Feelin' Alright?".
